When did you start playing your instrument?
Age 9.
What do you do when you’re not playing in the LSO?
I’m a law professor at Rutgers specializing in intellectual property and antitrust law. I also enjoy playing basketball, working out, and hanging out with my wife and daughters.
When, or how, did you come to join the orchestra?
I joined in 2004 after hearing about the orchestra from Tamsin Fast, who worked with my wife.
Do you play in any other musical groups?
This is it!
Does the instrument you play on have a story?
I don’t have my own tympani, but my drum set (in the attic — we live in the city!) is an original Gretsch from 1960.
Are you originally from Lansdowne/Philadelphia?
I’m originally from Westchester, New York.
