When did you start playing your instrument?
I started the violin when I was five years old.
What do you do when you’re not playing in the LSO?
I like to read, work out, dance and try to learn the piano!
When, or how, did you come to join the orchestra?
I joined the orchestra in 2009, I had always heard wonderful things about the LSO and I was so excited to join after graduating law school.
Do you play in any other musical groups?
I sometimes play violin with various Greek bands in the area.
Do you come from a musical family?
I do have a musical family, my mother plays the piano, my father plays a traditional Greek instrument, the bouzouki, and my brother is a drummer and a pianist. My brother & I were in a band together for about 7 years and I have an extremely talented classical pianist for a cousin in Greece!
Does the instrument you play on have a story?
My violin is also a Philly native and I have had it for about 15 years.
Are you originally from Lansdowne/Philadelphia?
I am from Drexel Hill and I went to Upper Darby High School, so I had performed at UDPAC a long time before I joined the LSO!
Who is your favorite superhero?
Batman.
